Altered Art

My addiction is slowly growing to encompass 'Altered Art', thanx to my many talented friends on the DC forum.

There is no limit to the amount of things that can be 'altered' -

let your imagination be the judge.

I chose to start simple and this is my very first slide mailer,

made last Autumn - hence the theme.

It started life as a boring plain grey cardboard mailer,

then I spun my magic and I was thrilled with the results.

Lots of texture on the cover, painted with pearlescent paints

and a touch of embossing powder,

whilst the inside has heat embossed leaves, shrink plastic,

gold leaf effect, mica beads and simple 'peel off' lettering.

The quote reads:

'Autumn is a second spring, when every leaf's a flower'.
